BIOGRAPHY

After having worked in advertising, I enrolled in the Amsterdam Photo Academy which I graduated in 2010. 

 

The world is filled with beauty and wonders, but it is -sometimes in the rush of the daily mundane- that we forget to open our eyes and genuinely see the splendour and exquisiteness that is already in front of us. 

Through my work I intend to reveal that beauty in its full potential and authenticity. I don't always capture the ordinary, instead adding twists to my images and revealing full potential of that which is already astounding. Although the initial appearance leans towards realism, I strive to show reality in a magical way.

The inspiring ways of the world - be it nature, people, stories, facts - have always caught my curiosity. I am committed to write them down and add them to the photos I create.  My work is fueled by my endless 

fascination for the unknown, adventure, natural stimuli, the African continent and the enthralling people I meet. 

 

This, I hope, I can bring to you, a vision once hidden but now revealed in its impeccable perfection.
